MLB 9 Innings 26 Gets Graphics Overhaul, New Features and Anniversary Events

Com2uS is celebrating the 10th anniversary of MLB 9 Innings 26 with a major update that brings improved graphics, a new player progression system and plenty of free rewards. The update is available now with several…

One of the bigger changes is a graphics overhaul that makes players and stadiums look more realistic. Player models have been cleaned up, animations are smoother and even eye movements look more natural. Stadiums have better lighting and more detailed backgrounds. There’s also a new feature called Ceiling Break that lets players push their Black Diamond cards beyond their previous limits with more control over which stats they want to improve for both pitchers and batters.

The anniversary rewards are pretty generous, especially for anyone who logs in before November 30. Players can pick up an ALL Supreme Player and a Legend Player for free, marking the first time the game has handed out a Supreme Player just for signing in. There are also seven additional rewards, including a Team Selective Signature Player, Skill Select Change Ticket and Skill Protection Change Ticket.

There are a few other ways to earn rewards during the celebration. The updated History Gallery takes a look back at the game’s 10-year run, while the Anniversary Main Hall lets players recruit up to 10 Signature Players using collected coins through November 14. The Ring & Home Run Challenge runs through November 15 with rewards for completing missions and a community-wide home run goal in League Mode. Players can earn a Diamond Trainer Recruit Ticket through missions, while the community challenge offers a Diamond Grade Increase Ticket if the final milestone is reached.

Com2uS is giving away a free 10th Anniversary Gift Package through November 15, featuring five premium items, including a Diamond Skill Trainer Recruit Ticket and Special Signature Player. MLB 9 Innings 26 is available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
