Heaven of 7 launches Kitsune’s Fortune: Hold and Win slot

Every bonus prize in the new title depends on a central Collect Symbol, a setup that also decides when its respin round begins.

Heaven of 7, the VeliTech group’s in-house slot studio, has released Kitsune’s Fortune: Hold and Win, a Japanese folklore-themed game with four fixed jackpots and a top win of 5,000x the bet.

Collect Symbols and the Hold and Win round

The slot is built around the Kitsune, the shape-shifting fox spirits of Japanese folklore, and plays over 15 paylines against a backdrop of cherry blossoms and spectral flames.

Bonus Symbols worth 1x to 8x the bet, or one of the four jackpots, land on the first and last reels. Their values are paid only when a Collect Symbol appears on the central reel, at which point all visible Bonus Symbols are added together and awarded on top of any payline wins.

When Bonus Symbols land on both outer reels together with a Collect Symbol, the Hold and Win feature starts with three respins. Each new Bonus Symbol is collected and resets the counter, and the round ends when no respins remain. In the base game, a random Pile Feature can add Collect and Bonus Symbols to the reels, which can create a Collect win or trigger the respins.

Jackpots, RTP and Buy Bonus options

The jackpots listed on the game’s page are Mini at 15x, Minor at 30x, Major at 100x and Grand at 1,000x the bet. Players can also enter the respins directly through two Buy Bonus options: 70x the bet for the bonus game, or 200x to start it with three or more Collect Symbols. The game has an RTP of 94.5% and medium-high volatility.

The launch comes in the same week that VeliGames, the group’s aggregation platform, said it had added 17 game providers in a record quarter.

Earlier in the year, VeliGames added 10 studios to its aggregation portfolio. Kitsune’s Fortune joins a Heaven of 7 catalogue that already includes Hold and Win titles such as 3 Treasures of Egypt: Hold and Win.
