In her Tour Ma Vie World Tour, GRAMMY-winning superstar Doja Cat has put her life on stage. Now she’s bringing you with her in MA VIE WORLD TOUR, a new documentary short filmed using Ray-Ban Meta glasses, giving fans access to the tour through Doja Cat's point of view.
Photo credit: Greg NoireDirected by Quinn Whitney Wilson (Jean-Michel Basquiat, Lizzo: Juice), the 12-minute film gives you a view of life on tour that only Doja Cat and the people closest to her have, as they make their way across seven countries during the European leg of the tour. This is a first of its kind documentary shot through glasses worn by the artist and her crew, so you see through their eyes, wherever they are. In the wings before she goes on. In front of the crowd as the lights come up. In the glam chair with her team. And on the road between shows.
The documentary takes you inside Doja Cat’s world of art, music, and fashion in a way you have never seen before. And fans in LA can see a piece of the tour in person at the Meta Lab LA store from Saturday, October 17, through Sunday, October 25. Fans will be able to get an up-close look at Doja Cat’s iconic Tour Ma Vie performance outfits, alongside the custom Ray-Ban Meta glasses she wore on stage with them — the same glasses the documentary were filmed on.
Attendees at Meta Lab LA can demo Ray-Ban Meta glasses and try on different frames, including Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) Zena and Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) Aviator, the frames behind the custom styles Doja Cat wears on stage during her North American leg of the tour that is currently taking place. And if you purchase Ray-Ban Meta glasses, you’ll be eligible to receive Doja Cat collectibles, including limited-edition Doja Cat lens cloths and customized case engravings while supplies last.
MA VIE WORLD TOURpremieres October 23 on Doja Cat’s YouTube channel. The Doja Cat-themed Meta Lab LA takeover runs from Saturday, October 17, through Sunday, October 25, timed to the release of the documentary, Doja Cat’s birthday on October 21, and her Los Angeles concert on October 22 at the Kia Forum.
