Football superstar Erling Haaland has admitted to being a camper in Call of Duty after managing to get an early look at Modern Warfare 4.
There are plenty of celebrities and athletes who have bragged about their gaming credentials over the years. Some play in secret, not using a username that would give them away, while others are happy to use their real names.
Manchester City’s Erling Haaland falls into that camp, previously saying that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is one of his favorite games of all time, and noting that you might bump into him if you play EA FC and Fortnite too.
Now, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 just around the corner, the Norwegian superstar has been back on the sticks, admitting to being the one CoD player that everyone hates – a camper.
Yes, Erling Haaland is a Call of Duty camper
“This gives me so much nostalgic feeling when I was young, this is too good,” the 26-year-old said in his October 21 YouTube video alongside rapper Aitch.
“You know, this is a bit embarrassing to say, but I’ve been a camper my whole life. I’m that guy that you hate. I’ll probably get some hate now, but it is what it is.”

Haaland added that Call of Duty is best playing with “good and funny people” as you can have the “time of your life” in-between matches.
The fact that he might be sat in a corner might ruin things for other players, though, especially those who have a long-standing hatred of campers.
Modern Warfare 4 has been in early access ahead of its full release on November 22, when the next iteration of Call of Duty’s multiplayer goes live. DMZ has been live around, with players airing complaints about the “OP” Possum trait.
